MANX WHARTON directs 900 House Art Studio and The Privy private club, as well as The Manx Wharton Freakout arts and social network.

music/
He performs solo and with virtual band Rendered Lamb at venues in VR and on the internet, like Burning Life 2008, and the Grand Finale Night on the main stage at Second Life 6th Birthday. His songs appear on indiespectrum radio.

poetry and commentary/
Manx helped start The Plastic Collective and is a poet and writer in Virtual Reality. He's often at Blue Angel Poetry, the oldest and largest poetry open mic in Virtual Reality. His poetry most recently appeared in Vitruvius and Blue Angel Landing anthologies as well as winning First Prize in the TLE Veteran's Day Poetry Competition, and was featured in the Venice Biennale Collateral Program.

live/
Manx led the Manx Wharton Freakout Live at Venusian Gardens West Gallery in affiliation with SLCC 2009 in San Francisco, leading a SLRL mashup of poets, artists and musicians collaborating inworld and outworld in a live arts happening. He's appeared on podcasts and live interviews including Bookstacks' ''Off The Shelf" program on Radio Riel.

His RL paintings are at galleries in Virtual Reality including Infinite Art Gallery. His RL Avatar portraits were featured at SL5B and later at SOMARTS Synthetic Masquerade SL/RL plastic realities art exhibit and opening event in November 2008. Some of his recent VR installations include The General Welfare (with Nestra Careless) at Burning Life 2008, Repurposed: Your Leisure Lifestyle aboard the SS Galaxy in February 2009, and The Future Is Ruth, featured at SL6B in June 2009.
